Inspiration

Hi Everyone!

The past few weeks I took some time to focus on what inspires me. I sometimes need this time to reevaluate myself, and rediscover what drives and motivates me. This time to think or meditate really helps bring my passion for life back a bit stronger. Through Facebook and this fun little site called Pintrest, I found a couple youtube videos that sparked that passionate fire, and motivated me to work hard and remember the things I love: yoga, life, beauty, helping others, and sharing inspiration.

I would like to share a couple of the videos that have inspired me, and reminded me of the simple and unique beauty of life, the human soul, and body. Enjoy!!! Namaste :)

It's a Bright Sunshiny New Year!!!

Happy New Year Friends!

As 2011 came to a close and 2012 began, I took some time to reflect on this past year. I feel so fortunate to have such wonderful friends, loving family, an awesome, supportive, and loving fiance, motivating coworkers, and inspiring yogis in my life. This is going to be such an exciting year and I am looking forward to all the beauty and adventures to come.

2012 has started off to be a hot one! I must admit I love a cool and crisp January, but this heat is pretty amazing!!! Oh how I love So Cal! Since it is warm, why don't we get ourselves out of the house or gyms, and out in the outdoors for a great workout?! How about doing some yoga....Sun Salutations to honor the beautiful, bright, and warm sun? Or hiking? Hiking has quickly become one of my favorite outdoor workouts. I really felt motivated one day and attempted (operative word being attempted) lunges up a hill. This beat any workout I have tried in the gym! Phew....let's just say I have not recently attempted that little workout again! Or how about taking a nice stroll/jog/bike ride in the park or on the beach?

I personally feel that "mixing" up your workout routine really helps motivate and focus you. Your body also responds positively to the change. It begins to become a bit more energized! I encourage you to find what activity motivates you!

Have a Happy New Year! Enjoy life and the great adventures that come with it!
